The Parselmouths

Originating in Seattle in early 2004, the Parselmouths are probably the second-oldest wizard rock band ever, definitely the oldest female wrock band, and certainly the first wrock band I discovered. Their music is brilliantly witty, scathing and original, and I’m so glad their earlier albums are available again. For Pretty in Pink (and Green), Eia joined original members Kristina and Brittany/Elle to form a trio. Following Elle’s departure from the band, Kristina and Eia released Spattergroit with Alex Day. Kristina was also part of the short-lived collaboration project The Broom Closet Diaries and the electronic band ALL CAPS.
