Open at the Close

We’ve got a movie left now, I guess
But then the rest of the world might forget
But not you, not me
Not the ones who stood by Harry
We who know the magic is real
And the ones who now feel
Special because of what we are a part of
We who now know the power of love

Just because the plot has finished
Doesn’t make the memories diminish
It doesn’t mean, at the end of Harry’s crusade
It’s the end of the difference that we’ve made
Love and laughter, music and friends
More and more as we approach the end
I guess it just goes to show
How we open at our close
How we open at our close

It doesn’t matter what country we were born in
Or what language we’ve read Harry’s story in
It’s the difference we made in Harry’s name
That really matters at the end of the day
Whether you’ve been there since Sorcerer’s Stone
Or only after Deathly Hallows was closed
Everyone gather, sing, dance and shout
We’re all here at the end, and that, that’s what counts

Because no matter from which point you start
We all have Harry in our hearts
We’re special because of what we are a part of
Harry has taught us the power of love

Just because the plot has finished
Doesn’t make the memories diminish
It doesn’t mean, at the end of Harry’s crusade
It’s the end of the difference that we’ve made
Love and laughter, music and friends
More and more as we approach the end
I guess it just goes to show
How we open at our close
How we open at our close

So keep playing music, wrock or otherwise
This revolution of love is on the rise
This end is really only a start
The Boy Who Lived still lives inside our hearts

Just because the plot has finished
Doesn’t make the memories diminish
It doesn’t mean, at the end of Harry’s crusade
It’s the end of the difference that we’ve made
Love and laughter, music and friends
More and more as we approach the end
I guess it just goes to show
How we open at our close
How we open at our close
